JOB L OCATION:___ Fully Remote___ Hybrid (Some remote work some on campus work)X On CampusJOB SUMMARY:Spalding University is seeking a candidate for a Full Time Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach. This position will report directly to the Head Coach and will assist in coaching and recruiting for the program directly in line with all University, Conference, and NCAA guidelines. Spalding University is located downtown Louisville, Kentucky and the Lacrosse programs participate in the Ohio Athletic Conference as a NCAA Division III member.Salary/Hourly wage for this position is $21,000 yearly with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical coverage, 403b, 23 Paid Time Off days, 21 Holidays, tuition remission, and much more.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Organize and execute daily practice plans.File scouting reports that detail player assessments, provide recommendations on athlete recruitment, and identify locations and individuals for future recruitment efforts.On and off campus recruiting.Assist head coach with game day management.Assist with all Lacrosse clinics and camps.Help run social media accounts for our program.Ability to maintain effective work relations with faculty, staff, students.Conduct academic grade checks with athletes.Coordinate team travel.Organize Fundraising and Community Service opportunities for athletes.Demonstrate a working knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and maintain the integrity of the athletic program through the appropriate application of these rules.Represent Spalding University and our Athletic Department in an exemplary fashion.All other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and the Director of Athletics.SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree, Collegiate Playing or Coaching Experience.INTERRELATIONS:Regular or daily contact with administration, faculty, staff, and students.Regular contact with the general public.Must have an appreciation and respect for diverse populations.CONTACT:All applications are made through the Paycom Applicant Tracking System.ABOUT SPALDING UNIVERSITY:Spalding University offers a comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, Spalding matching contribution up to 5% to your 403b/Roth retirement plan, generous Paid Time Off program, Parental Leave, paid holidays, paid life insurance and long-term disability, paid time for volunteering, and more.Situated in the heart of downtown Louisville, Kentucky’s largest city, Spalding University combines a rich social justice history and a commitment to community service as we attract students who desire a high-quality education in a very personalized setting.
