Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball

Job Description Assist the Head Women's Basketball Coach with all phases of a Division I Women's Basketball program. Develop and implement recruiting programs consistent with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules, recruiting student‑athletes who meet academic and athletic standards. Support recruiting efforts, evaluate talent, coordinate depth charts, plan recruiting trips, manage PSA campus visits, and general correspondence. Plan and coordinate in‑season and out‑of‑season practices, provide individual skill instruction and team workouts to develop athletic performance at the Division I level. Provide on‑court instruction to women’s basketball student‑athletes in any position to enhance team performance. Help plan and implement game plans, develop opponents’ scouting reports. Monitor academic progress of the women’s basketball student‑athletes, communicating with the Athletics Academic Advisor to address concerns. Assist in scheduling games as directed by the Head Coach. Participate in fundraising activities for the women’s basketball program (camps/showcases) and/or Department of Athletics. Promote a culture of inclusion, working effectively within a diverse culture of individuals. Abide by NCAA, conference rules, academic standards, and Department of Athletics & university policies. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position. Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university. Personal athletic experience as a collegiate or professional basketball player or related field. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
