It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.Responsibilities:Contact all insurance companies to verify the description of the patient's medical plan benefits.Interacts with physicians' office personnel and patients regarding financial issues; assures appropriate payment for procedures.Handles customer account transactions, provides customer assistance, and performs and/or oversees cashiering operations.Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.Qualifications:Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Knowledge of insurance plans. Skilled in a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).One (1) year of previously related experienceMedical TerminologyPreferred Job Requirements:Associates Degree in a related field of studyPrevious medical office experience.Heart Saver.
