Medicare Specialist Customer Service

This is NOT a remote position -- A local (to Columbia) large provider of health insurance is seeking to add to their Customer Service team, with a Medicare Specialist member.  The ideal candidate will have a background in medical billing and/or medical insurance, along with excellent customer service skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.  If interested in this position, apply today and upload your updated, professional resume.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and accurately document the Medicare Specialist inquiries in the Facets system

• Professionally handle incoming telephone calls and emails from both internal and external customers while taking appropriate action to resolve the situation 

• Work independently to research and determine cause of problem and effect of resolution with assistance as needed
