We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep to join our small Italian restaurant kitchen team. This role involves food preparation, cooking, and managing kitchen operations with a focus on maintaining high-quality culinary standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Italian cuisine and be adept at overseeing inventory.
Pay will depend upon performance in the role, if you perform well we pay above market rates!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes to restaurant standards
- Manage daily kitchen operations and coordinate team tasks in a small kitchen
- Maintain inventory control and ensure supply levels meet kitchen needs
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in culinary arts
- Food Safety Certification
- Strong culinary techniques with emphasis on Italian cuisine
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
- Experience with inventory management in a kitchen environment
