We are looking for a Patient Service Rep to support daily patient-facing and administrative activities for a healthcare team in Princeton, New Jersey. This Contract position requires someone who can communicate clearly, stay organized, and provide dependable service while managing appointments, records, and related coordination tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a medical office environment, handling documentation accurately, and assisting with scheduling and correspondence in a detail-oriented manner.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient appointment scheduling, calendar updates, and related follow-up to keep daily operations running smoothly.

• Respond to incoming calls, voicemail, and email inquiries effectively, ensuring requests are directed and resolved appropriately.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and update medical records in designated systems with close attention to detail.

• Support referral processing, submission-related tasks, and coverage verification in alignment with office procedures.

• Use Epic and other internal platforms to review information, manage patient data, and assist with administrative workflows.

• Communicate with patients and internal staff regarding scheduling changes, required documentation, and general service needs.

• Assist with training-related support and follow established compliance standards across routine office activities.

• Provide coordination support for clinical trial operations and other specialized patient service functions as needed.

• Prior experience in customer service or patient support within a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to manage phone and email correspondence effectively.
• Experience with documentation, record review, and maintaining accurate medical information.
• Familiarity with appointment scheduling, calendar management, and handling referrals or related administrative processes.
• Working knowledge of Epic software or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Understanding of compliance expectations, confidentiality, and attention to detail in healthcare environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and provide dependable support in a fast-paced setting.
