School Psychologist - Huntsville, Alabama

Job Description

Step into a dynamic role supporting K-12 students as a dedicated school psychology professional for the upcoming academic year! This full-time contract opportunity, located near Huntsville, Alabama, spans from late July through May, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 35-40 hours. You’ll work within a collaborative educational environment, making a significant impact by providing psychological services to a diverse student population.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

Hold an active School Psychologist or School Psychometrist license in Alabama
Experience within school settings is a plus but not mandatory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments for students across K-12th grade
Prepare and document clear, comprehensive psychological reports
Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support tailored student plans
Collaborate with school teams to develop strategies for student success
Engage in ongoing professional dialogue for continued enhancement of school psychology services
