goals. \n\n \n Increasing donor acquisition, retention, renewal, and donor upgrades through data-informed fundraising strategies. \n\n \n Expanding leadership and major gift giving through strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. \n\n \n Managing fundraising performance across individual, institutional, event, and campaign-based giving programs. \n\n \n Building, qualifying, and advancing a strong donor and prospect pipeline, with an eye toward long-term giving capacity and multi-year commitment strategies. \n\n \n Ensuring donors experience meaningful, personalized, and mission-driven engagement with the organization. \n\n \n Strengthening staff capacity through supervision, coaching, performance management, and professional development. \n\n \n Monitoring fundraising trends, results, and key performance indicators and making recommendations for continuous improvement. \n\n \n Creating an inclusive, relationship-centered fundraising culture aligned with organizational values. \n\nKey Responsibilities \nFundraising Leadership & Revenue Management \n\n \n Develop and implement annual fundraising plans aligned with organizational revenue goals. \n\n \n Establish fundraising objectives, performance measures, and benchmarks across all giving programs. \n\n \n Monitor revenue performance and pipeline activity, adjusting strategies as needed. \n\n \n Manage fundraising calendars, campaign schedules, and stewardship initiatives. \n\n \n Identify growth opportunities across individual, institutional, and corporate giving programs. \n\n \n Prepare regular fundraising forecasts and revenue reports for organizational leadership. \n\n \n Support long-range donor readiness planning in partnership with the VP and CEO, including cultivation strategies for future leadership-level and multi-year giving opportunities. \n\nDonor Pipeline, Major Gifts & Executive Engagement \n\n \n Build and manage a strong donor and prospect pipeline, with emphasis on identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and advancing relationships toward increased giving. \n\n \n Manage a focused portfolio of mid-level and selected major gift donors and prospects, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship where appropriate. \n\n \n Develop donor strategies that clarify the role of the Director, Vice President, CEO, board members, and other relationship holders in advancing major gift opportunities. \n\n \n Prepare and activate the Vice President and CEO for major donor meetings, solicitations, stewardship conversations, and follow-up. \n\n \n Coordinate timely next steps, documentation, and relationship management activity to ensure prospects continue moving through the pipeline. \n\n \n Ensure meaningful stewardship and engagement opportunities for contributors. \n\nInstitutional Giving Oversight \n\n \n Oversee grant development, submission, and reporting processes. \n\n \n Review and approve grant proposals and funder reports before executive review. \n\n \n Monitor institutional fundraising pipelines and funding opportunity strategies. \n\n \n Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting commitments. \n\nDonor Engagement & Campaign Management \n\n \n Oversee annual giving, donor engagement, fundraising campaigns, and donor stewardship initiatives. \n\n \n Partner with Marketing & Communications to align fundraising messaging, storytelling, and donor communications. \n\n \n Support planning and execution of donor events and engagement experiences. \n\n \n Monitor campaign effectiveness and donor retention metrics. \n\nDevelopment Operations & Analytics \n\n \n Ensure accurate donor records, gift processing, reporting, and data governance practices. \n\n \n Oversee CRM management and fundraising reporting systems. \n\n \n Review fundraising analytics and recommend improvements to performance and efficiency. \n\n \n Monitor departmental processes, standards, and workflows. \n\n \n Ensure compliance with fundraising policies and data management practices. \n\nTeam Leadership & Management \n\n \n Supervise, coach, and develop Development staff. \n\n \n Establish individual goals, work plans, and performance expectations. \n\n \n Foster cross-functional collaboration and accountability. \n\n \n Build team capacity through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. \n\n \n
