We instill confidence every day by delivering reliable solutions and brilliant service, and we are always looking for talented people who share that commitment.What the Role InvolvesAdministering HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsSupporting the development, maintenance, and communication of employee policies, including the annual employee handbook reviewMaintaining employee records and HR documentation within UKG (UltiPro), ensuring data accuracyPreparing HR reports, metrics, organizational charts, employee directories, and ad hoc reporting as neededSupporting employee engagement initiatives and performance management processesAdministering employee benefit programs, including enrollments, changes, claims resolution, and employee communicationsCoordinating and managing annual Open EnrollmentAdministering FMLA, ADA, leave of absence, and ACA-related processesManaging Workers' Compensation claims, partnering with employees, managers, and vendors to ensure timely resolution and appropriate careResponding to employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and HR policiesLeading full-cycle recruitment for corporate and field positions, including workforce planning, job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer administration, and onboardingPartnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategiesCoordinating pre-employment screenings, background checks, and new hire documentationFacilitating new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure a positive employee experienceProviding guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, practices, and workplace concernsManaging unemployment claims and responsesMaintaining compliance with EEO, Affirmative Action, and other employment-related reporting requirements, including preparation of the annual EEO-1 reportCoordinating employee separations and offboarding activities, including exit interviews, final documentation, system access changes, and reportingDelivering and coordinating HR-related training on benefits, policies, procedures, and compliance topicsManaging the corporate travel program and coordinating travel arrangements for corporate and field employeesParticipating in HR initiatives, process improvements, and special projects that support organizational goalsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and at least five years of relevant Human Resources and/or administrative experienceExperience administering HRIS platforms, preferably UKG (UltiPro)Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesExperience managing benefits administration, leave management, employee relations, and recruitmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilitiesExceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentialityProficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systemsNice to HaveSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certificationWorking ConditionsIndoor office environment with prolonged sitting and extended computer/screen useOccasional evening or weekend work required to support Open Enrollment and other HR eventsOccasional local travel for recruiting events, job fairs, and visits to other Smart City locationsRegular exposure to sensitive and confidential employee information, requiring sound judgment and discretionWhat We OfferCompetitive Salary Commensurate with ExperienceMedical, Dental, and VisionSupplemental Benefits — Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital CareLife and DisabilityFlexible Spending Accounts401K with MatchLife Assistance and Wellness PlanVacation, Personal, Sick, and Holiday PayOngoing Professional Development & Educational Reimbursement ProgramTeam Member Recognition ProgramsAdditional RequirementsAs part of our standard hiring process, employment with Smart City Networks is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening [and motor vehicle and credit check, if applicable to this role].
