HVAC Service TechnicianAs an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair residential HVAC systems. Core values that we live every day – not just words on a page: We Win Together, Today Not Tomorrow, Performance Not Politics Meritocracy! - performance pay directly tied to your results, not your tenure Benefits you will use – full medical, dental, and vision packages with better rates than industry standards Secure your financial future – 401(k) with company match Continuous support and training – a management team that invests in you, so you are setup for successHVAC Service Technician Key Responsibilities:Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions and recommend effective solutions.Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential problems before they escalate.Install, repair, or replace components, such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules, prioritize service calls, and efficiently complete assignments.Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repair options, and providing recommendations for system improvements.Accurately document service activities, including equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.HVAC Service Technician Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.Valid HVAC technician license/certification.Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Exceptional customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.HVAC Service Technician Interpersonal Qualifications:Customer service focus and mindset, putting our employees and Partners first, with excellent ability to communicate and develop relationships.Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to improve things both big and small.Highly organized, ability to act quickly while still having attention to detail.Hold yourself to a higher standard and exhibit a high level of integrity.Lion Home Service is an equal opportunity employer.
