SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC)

DutiesDuty 1: Plans, organizes, and directs the activity of the division ensuring the development, implementation, and maintenance of programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of IT/IS and data assets across the Air Force Enterprise.Duty 2: Executes supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.Duty 3: Serves as a Senior IT Specialist and technical expert representing the organization where required during cybersecurity forums, DoD-level working groups, interagency and service visits, professional symposiums, and conferences.Duty 4: Provides policy and technical guidance across the organization in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards for effective planning, programming, budgeting, and management of IT/IS modernization, information/data administration, and other Communications and Information efforts.Duty 5: Performs other related duties as directed to support the organization. Serves as expert planner, management analyst, and advisor on annual/multi-year and long-range planning.
