About the Role:  

Pak Energy is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Human Resources Generalist to support the execution of day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role serves as the primary point of contact for many employee-facing HR processes, including onboarding and offboarding, HR compliance, benefits administration, employee relations support, HRIS 

maintenance, employee records management, and policy administration. 

The HR Generalist plays a hands-on role in ensuring HR programs and processes are delivered efficiently and consistently across the organization while promoting a positive work environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing technology environment while delivering exceptional service to employees and managers. This position 

focuses on the administration and execution of HR procedures and programs, while partnering closely with the HR Manager on more complex employee relations, talent management, organizational, and strategic HR initiatives. 

 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred. 

• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 

• 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a Generalist or equivalent HR role. 

• Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, learning and 

development, culture and engagement, and compliance activities. 

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. 

• Experience supporting multistate employee populations. 

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. 

• Ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leaders at all levels. 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP certification. 

• Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools. 

• Experience using Paycor 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and routine workplace matters. 

• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and lead new hire orientation activities. 

• Support employee relations activities, investigations, performance improvement plans, and related documentation. 

• Prepare, process, and maintain employment-related documentation throughout the employee lifecycle with a high degree of accuracy. 

• Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment activities. 

• Coordinate and document leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, and other protected leaves. 

• Document, maintain, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all HR processes. 

• Administer contractor onboarding and offboarding and coordinate annual agreement reviews. 

• Support performance review cycles, employee development programs, and training initiatives. 

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, company policies, and HR procedures across multiple site locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. 

• Assist with audits, policy updates, compliance reporting, and required filings. 

• Respond to unemployment claims and participate in hearings as needed. 

• Support compensation administration activities, including job descriptions and market benchmarking. 

• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce data analyses as needed. 

• Participate in employee engagement, recognition, and continuous process improvement initiatives. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
