Technical Sales Representative for AI Training

$45 - $85 per hour

Role Overview
Sell and qualify B2B opportunities for technical and scientific materials, translating complex product details into clear business benefits for non-technical buyers, handling objections confidently, and providing subject matter input used to train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This is a remote, contractor role that prioritizes domain expertise over prior AI experience.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect B2B leads using advanced research and outreach techniques tailored to technical and scientific materials markets.
Qualify leads by assessing needs, budget, decision authority, and interest to ensure alignment with technical product offerings.
Communicate complex technical value propositions clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Create and deliver tailored written and verbal presentations that convert technical features into actionable business benefits.
Handle common objections with factual, benefits-driven responses grounded in industry knowledge.
Document key interactions, prospect feedback, and market insights to inform project improvements.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to refine messaging and outreach based on market feedback.
Contribute high-quality, domain-specific feedback that supports AI model training and evaluation efforts.
Qualifications
Required skills: B2B lead prospecting and qualification, ability to communicate a technical value proposition to non-technical buyers, and objection handling knowledge in technical and scientific materials.
Preferred experience: demonstrated success in B2B sales within the technical or scientific materials sector.
Deep understanding of technical products, materials, and their applications across industries.
Proven ability to explain technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
Experience with consultative objection handling and negotiation.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital prospecting tools used in B2B sales.
Strong analytical skills to assess prospect potential and adapt engagement strategies.
Commitment to delivering concise, actionable feedback useful for project development and AI model training.
Work Terms
Independent contractor engagement, fully remote. No prior AI experience is required. Role focuses on applying your technical sales expertise to support a customer project and to generate high-quality domain insights.
Compensation
$45.00 to $85.00 per hour.
Eligibility
This opportunity is offered as a contractor role. Candidates should be able to accept independent contractor terms for remote work.
