Forklift Operator

Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $20.30hr - $25.30hrRequirement/Must Have:High School Diploma or GED preferred.1+ years of relevant experience required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred.Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 2 days of employment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.General distribution knowledge.Basic computer skills.Strong initiative and drive for results.Responsibilities:Transport palletized product within the distribution center including unloading, double deep put away, bulk and full pallet picking, loading, and replenishment.Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE such as safety vests and safety shoes.Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas to provide backup support when required.Skills:Driving Forklift.High reach forklift.Counterbalance forklift.Electric pallet jack.Dock stocker.RF Scanner.Manhattan WMS.Physical Requirements (Due to Nature of Job, The Candidate Must Have):Ability to walk.Ability to stand.Ability to stoop.Ability to kneel.Ability to balance.Ability to crouch.Ability to reach.Ability to push and pull.Ability to grasp.Ability to hear.Ability to twist.Ability to lift.Ability to use hands to finger, handle, feel, pick or type.Ability to perform repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers.Ability to climb.Ability to lift 20 lbs or more.Ability to maintain normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye.Ability to hear sufficiently to safely operate MHE in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
