Environmental Project Scientist

Timberwolf Environmental, LLC provides environmental assessment and remediation consulting services with a primary focus in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. Timberwolf is seeking an Environmental Project Scientist to join our growing firm in College Station, Texas . Under direct supervision, the individual will provide technical and task management support on environmental site assessment, soil and groundwater remediation, and regulatory compliance projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in College Station, Texas. Key Responsibilities Perform groundwater and soil sampling Support remediation system operations and monitoring Prepare technical reports and regulatory documentation Coordinate subcontractors and field activities Interface with clients and regulatory agencies Assist with project budgeting and scheduling Maintain field documentation and QA/QC procedures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Soil Science, Geology, or related field 1-4 years of experience in environmental consulting, preferably in site assessment and remediation Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including TRRP Self-starter with strong teamwork skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills Demonstrated strong work ethic and time management skills in fast-paced environments. Ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and coworkers. Proficiency with standard software tools including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas and the United States, including regular overnight travel, with occasional extended travel (2 weeks); Travel is approximately 40-50% Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under the Company’s insurance policy Preferred Qualifications Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT) certification Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) experience Experience with Upstream/Midstream Oil & Gas Timberwolf Environmental offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees both professionally and personally.
