Estate Planning Paralegal | Chicago | $65K–$85K + Bonus

An excellent opportunity for an experienced estate planning paralegal to join an established Chicago law firm known for its collaborative culture, long-term employee retention, and commitment to professional growth.

A well-established commercial law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Paralegal with experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a variety of estate matters while joining a team that values attention to detail, initiative, and long-term development.

The Opportunity

• Compensation: $65K–$85K + performance-based bonus
• Location: Downtown Chicago
• Schedule: Hybrid, 3–4 days remote per week
• Experience: 3+ years in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
• Billable Requirement: 100–120 hours per month
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing after one year, and long-term disability coverage

What You’ll Do

• Assist with estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
• Prepare and organize estate planning documents and related legal filings.
• Coordinate documentation, deadlines, and ongoing matter administration.
• Support attorneys in managing client matters efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain organized files and ensure attention to detail across all assignments.
• Help prioritize competing deadlines and keep matters progressing smoothly.

What They’re Looking For

• At least three years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple matters independently.
• A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving.
• Familiarity with WealthCounsel is preferred but not required.
