Senior Accountant - Full-Time This onsite role in the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky area is responsible for managing financial reporting, portfolio analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards for the company's Ventures portfolio. The Accounting Portfolio Senior Accountant will have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations. The Accounting Portfolio Senior Accountant will work closely with internal teams, third-party partners, lenders, and investors to provide accurate financial reporting and support the strategic growth and performance of the Ventures portfolio. Duties and Responsibilities Here's a simpler job-posting version: Job Purpose: This role supports the day-to-day accounting needs of the business by managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and other financial processes. The person in this role helps ensure accurate financial data, which is important to understanding the overall financial health of the company. What You'll Do: Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions Create and send customer invoices Post cash receipts and monitor incoming payments Follow up on past-due accounts and support collections efforts Review sales reports and help identify errors, trends, or areas for improvement Enter and code invoices accurately in the accounting system Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and receipts Help manage vendor payments, check runs, and electronic payments Support month-end close activities, including accruals, adjustments, and reports Assist with sales tax filings, commission tracking, and daily cash reporting Support inventory-related accounting processes and month-end reporting Communicate across teams to resolve issues and improve processes Help with budgeting and other accounting duties as needed What We're Looking For: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong communication and organizational skills A proactive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work well across departments Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Familiarity with accrual-based accounting preferred Education and Experience: Accounting or business-related degree preferred Or 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience Must live in and be eligible to work in the USA.
