If interested, please email Jonathon Juriga at View email address on click.appcast.io What You'll Do: Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Execute and support month-end close processes, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations using BlackLine Manage compensation accounting, including wages, payroll taxes, and benefit accruals Assist with preparation of consolidated financial statements and internal reporting packages Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations Partner with FP&A, business units, and accounting teams to gather and analyze financial data Serve as a liaison with external auditors; prepare audit schedules for quarterly and annual reviews Maintain fixed asset accounting records, including book and tax reporting Support SEC reporting activities, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K Assist with ERP-related financial processes and issue resolution (JD Edwards preferred) Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation and standardization efforts Support SOX compliance and remediation of internal control gaps Participate in special projects and strategic finance initiatives What Experience You'll Have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 10+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience with payroll and benefit accounting Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills What Experience is Nice to Have: CPA is a plus Vernovis does not accept inquiries from Corp to Corp recruiting companies.
