Senior Accountant

Supports the Director, Financial Shared Services and Vice President Accounting Responsible for compensation accounting including wage, statutory tax and benefit accruals and reconciliations Preparation of account reconciliations of the various general ledger accounts Responsible for, supports and coordinates various month-end close activities Assists with intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations Assists with the preparation of the Consolidated Financial Statements and month-end reporting Serve as liaison between corporate accounting, the various accounting teams Will support the Financial Shared Services function to implement cross-functional and cross departmental process automation and improvements Serve as a point of contact for external auditors Assist with the maintenance of the Company’s Fixed Asset Accounting Assist with the remediation of gaps in internal control identified Assist with monitoring and the remediation of issues that arise with the company’s ERP system (JD Edwards) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting required Payroll and benefit accounting experience required Experience in a Financial Shared Services environment preferred, but not required Manufacturing environment experience An active CPA license and experience preparing financial statements for a publicly traded company preferred but not required Public Accounting Experience, a Plus At least ten years of experience in accounting roles Experience with ERP operating software, preferably JD Edwards or Oracle operating systems Flowcharting and process documentation experience, a Plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Pinnacle Partners, Inc
