What You'll Do

• Lead clinical operations of a high-acuity Level IIIB NICU with approximately 625 admissions annually
• Oversee and coordinate daily NICU patient care and multidisciplinary team activities
• Drive quality improvement initiatives ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Implement and support clinical innovations and new neonatal therapies, including high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and academic partners to develop neonatal programs and services
• Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows
• Engage in scholarly activities and support research within the neonatal service line

What You Need

• MD or DO Degree; Board Certified in Neonatology
• Residency completed in Neonatology with current license to practice in Virginia
• Proven leadership skills and experience in a NICU setting

• Prior experience leading clinical teams or NICU quality initiatives
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Academic or scholarly background in neonatal care
