ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Purchasing
o Provide support to Purchasing and Logistics Manager
o Analyze Inventory Needs and Process Weekly Stock PO's
o Review Backorders for Purchasing Needs
o Process Drop Ship, Custom and Airfreight Orders - Daily
o Sourcing Out-of-Stocks by Product Line - Other Distributors
o Reporting Related to Purchasing
o Past Due / Open PO
o Backorders
o Review Acknowledgements for Accuracy
o Update PO Line Items with ETAs
o Process Parts Orders
o Communicate Out-of-Stocks and updated dates to Customer Service
• Inventory
o Research and Process Inventory Adjustments
o New Item Set Ups and Mass Imports
o Assist with Physical Inventory Reconciliations
o Assist in Preparing Order Point Quantity Reviews
o Assist in Preparing POs for Import
o Assist AP with Invoicing Issues Related to Receiving
o Monitor and Reconcile Trunk Stock Inventory
• Other
o Assist in Monitoring Purchasing Inbox
o Operations Team Projects, as Necessary
o Import Freight Tracking EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• College undergraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar position
• Background in ERP Systems and purchasing technology / software.
• Familiarity with purchasing/supply standardized methods and inventory control systems.
• Strong background with MS Excel, and Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Outlook,
Excel and Word.
• Good Analytical and critical thinking / problem-solving skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to interact with customers, vendors and employees in a professional manner.
• Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
• This is an on-site role; remote option is not available.
