Remote Sales Director (Healthcare Industry)

Overview The Sales Director (Healthcare Industry Background) position focuses on sourcing, nurturing, and closing new clients primarily from your network and industry. This hunter role emphasizes building strong relationships with midsize to enterprise-level clients, with primary focus on Healthcare including Hospitals, Health Systems, Pharmaceuticals, and MedTech. Responsibilities Hunting: Building strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise-level clients, with a remit across industries and a primary focus on Healthcare (Hospitals, Health Systems, Pharmaceuticals, and MedTech) industries. Originating and nurturing business relationships resulting in engagement opportunities. Presenting unique value propositions tailored to the needs of potential clients' senior executives. Developing strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients. Project Management: Scoping projects, shaping engagements, and helping define business solutions that satisfy client needs and achieve desired business outcomes. Planning, implementing, and managing lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets and business goals. Planning resources, organizing and mobilizing teams (including solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, and delivery teams) throughout complex sales cycles. Understanding and assisting in managing and mitigating key risks through tactical plans and actions. Requirements Industry Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or Health Systems sectors with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives. Business Development: Strong experience in business development, account management, vendor relations, or clinical partnerships within the healthcare sector. Sales Success: Proven success in sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and Enterprise accounts within healthcare or life sciences markets. Industry Knowledge: Excellent understanding of the Healthcare industry, including key players, strategies, client structure, business models, sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and key trends. Strategic Approach: Demonstrated strategic, creative, and analytical approach with a focus on initiating and building client relationships. Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of healthcare information systems, EHR platforms, compliance requirements, and technological challenges commonly faced in the healthcare industry. Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver compelling presentations tailored to potential clients' needs. Work Style: Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
