• License/Certs: VT medical license, board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Experience: 2+ years hospitalist experience preferred

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality inpatient care to adult patients in a community hospital setting
• Respond to codes and rapid responses; manage ventilators and step-down patients when needed
• Collaborate closely with ED, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care using Cerner Community Works EMR system
• Work approximately 7-10 shifts per month, with a flexible schedule and variety of cases
• Support the hospital’s Level 3 trauma capabilities and work within the hospital’s supportive team environment

What You Need

• Active Vermont medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Minimum of 2 years hospitalist experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills including response to codes and ventilator management (preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
