Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (equivalent to salary range $300,000 - $350,000 annually)

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct medical care for hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate closely with specialists and interdisciplinary team members
• Coordinate patient care plans and ensure smooth transitions of care
• Order, interpret, and respond to laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Respond to medical emergencies, including codes and rapid response situations
• Participate in clinical rounds, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up needs

What You Need

Required:

• MD or DO certification and license to practice in Vermont
• Prior experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Experience with ventilator management and acute care procedures is a plus
