Qualifications:
- Active Texas Special Education Teaching Certification required
- Experience in Life Skills and/or special education classrooms preferred
- Strong aptitude for collaboration and individualized instruction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to a small Life Skills caseload (3 students, K-12)
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with related service providers and school staff to support student growth
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment focused on functional, academic, and independent living skills
This full-time contract position is available to start as soon as possible and extends through the 2026-2027 school year. You will be on-site Monday through Friday, working with a dedicated educational team passionate about supporting every learner’s journey.
