Full time is 5 days a week and part time is 3-4 days a week. Both positions have occasional weekend.Position SummaryThe Registered Dietitian provides comprehensive nutrition assessment and clinical nutrition services to residents in both long-term care and sub-acute care units. This role is essential in supporting resident health outcomes through individualized care planning, regulatory documentation, and education.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct nutrition assessments and provide clinical nutrition services for long-term and sub-acute care residentsComplete accurate and timely medical record documentation, including MDS 3.0Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plansProvide nutrition education to residents, patients, and family members as neededParticipate in interdisciplinary care plan meetingsConduct meal rounds to ensure quality, safety, and resident satisfactionCollaborate with nursing, medical, and rehabilitation staff to support resident care goalsRequirementsRegistered Dietitian (ADA credential required)Minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care preferredKnowledge of MDS 3.0 and regulatory requirementsStrong communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skillsSalary Range: $37.5088 per hourThe New Jewish Home (TNJH) provides a salary range in compliance with New York City's Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements Law.
