Location: Hood River, OR

Start Date: 09/18/2026

Shift: Clinic: 8am-5pm; Call: 24-hour weekend and weeknight beeper shifts (7am-7pm), with occasional night calls

Duration: Full-time placement, with options for 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off

Hours/Week: 40+ scheduled hours

Employment Type: Locum Tenens

License/Certs: Active Oregon Medical License, DEA, BLS, NRP, Board Certification or Board Eligible in OB-GYN

Experience: Previous OB-GYN experience preferred, must meet privileges requirements

Hourly Rate: $1.00 (competitive hourly pay)

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient and outpatient OB-GYN care at a leading Oregon facility
• Perform in-office procedures, minor GYN surgeries, and emergency cases such as ectopics
• Manage labor and delivery, typically 0-2 deliveries per shift, with times when no deliveries occur
• Cover 8 call shifts per month, including 24-hour weekend and weeknight on-call duty
• Collaborate with clinical team during scheduled clinic days and on-call hours
• Maintain accurate case logs to support privileges for OB and GYN procedures

What You Need

Required:

• Active Oregon Medical License and DEA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB-GYN (within 3-5 years)
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Ability to provide case logs within the past 24 months for privileges

Preferred:

• Experience in obstetrics and gynecology with emergency procedure skills
• Willingness to obtain Oregon licensure if not already licensed
