Job Title: Senior Project Manager, Civil Infrastructure

Pay: $DOE per year

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7am-5pm

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and successful delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This position provides strategic direction and oversight of project scope, schedule, budget, contracts, procurement, quality, safety, risk, and stakeholder relationships.

The Senior Project Manager leads cross-functional project teams and serves as a primary point of contact for owners, clients, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. The role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple project priorities while delivering projects safely, profitably, and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of complex civil infrastructure projects, establishing project objectives, execution strategies, staffing plans, schedules, budgets, and performance targets.

· Manage overall project financial performance, including budgets, cost controls, forecasts, cash flow, commitments, profitability, and resource allocation.

· Direct multidisciplinary project teams, including project managers, engineers, superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.

· Administer prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders, including scope management, negotiations, claims, and commercial risk.

· Manage project schedules, milestones, procurement, construction sequencing, and recovery plans to ensure timely delivery.

· Oversee RFIs, submittals, design coordination, constructability reviews, technical issues, and resolution of field and engineering conflicts.

· Establish and monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance programs in accordance with contract requirements, OSHA, DOT, environmental, and applicable industry standards.

· Identify and mitigate technical, financial, contractual, safety, and schedule risks while implementing value engineering and cost-optimization opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

· 8–12+ years of progressive experience in civil construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project management, with demonstrated experience managing complex projects.

· Proven experience independently managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout.

· Demonstrated responsibility for project budgets, schedules, contracts, cost control, and overall financial performance.

· Experience managing projects with significant subcontractor, vendor, engineering, and stakeholder coordination.

· Strong knowledge of civil construction means and methods, sequencing, constructability, estimating, scheduling, and project controls.

· Experience with public-sector, DOT, municipal, federal, or other regulated infrastructure projects preferred.

· Knowledge of FHWA, state DOT specifications, OSHA, environmental requirements, permitting, and applicable construction standards.

· Strong understanding of contract administration, change management, claims, and dispute resolution.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable construction/project management software.

· Experience interpreting construction drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, schedules, cost reports, and contract documents.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP, CCM, PE, DBIA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
