Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective treatment and support during critical situations.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately to determine urgent needs.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatments, recording findings in the EHR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on their conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with current state licensure.
  
  
• 
  BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
  
  
• 
  Proven experience in emergency nursing or acute care.
  
  
• 
  Familiarity with the Epic EHR system.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 36 hours per week with EOW and EOH per department rotation.
  
  
• 
  Must be located at least 75 miles from the facility for contract eligibility.
