Overview
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery, based in Dundee, Kansas, United States. Start date: 10/25/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Weekly pay ranges from $2,430 to $2,534 per week, with no guaranteed-hours commitment. Shift is 12-hour nights (3x12). This travel role includes on-unit obstetric care, with orientation provided virtually followed by on-unit training.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for labor and delivery patients, including admission assessment, monitoring, and discharge planning
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform continuous fetal heart rate monitoring, and respond to non-reassuring tracings
- Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care; support cesarean sections when required
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and maintain accurate medication reconciliation and documentation
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatal staff, and multidisciplinary teams; educate patients and families about labor progress and postpartum care
- Maintain patient safety and standards of care under hospital policies; participate in call schedules and unit routines as assigned

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas (or eligible for licensure in Kansas)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Must have taken a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months
- Must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience; willing to float to medical/surgical units as needed and to care for pediatric patients
- EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred
- New graduates not accepted
