We are a technology-enabled, customer-focused tax services team supporting Intuit TurboTax customers during tax season. Our team helps taxpayers navigate the filing process by providing accurate tax guidance, reviewing returns, identifying potential issues, and delivering a high-quality customer experience.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Tax Associates to join our tax team. In this role, you will review individual tax returns, identify errors or missing information, provide clear guidance, and help ensure returns are accurate and complete.

This is a customer-facing position that requires strong tax knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate tax concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze individual federal and state tax returns.

• Review and sign tax returns within the scope of your authorization and responsibilities.

• Identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.

• Provide clear Notes to Preparer and recommendations for corrections.

• Research tax issues and apply appropriate tax rules.

• Communicate professionally with customers regarding tax-related questions.

• Help ensure returns are accurate and compliant with applicable tax requirements.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy while working efficiently during tax season.

Qualifications

• At least 2 paid tax seasons of experience.

• Experience preparing and/or reviewing individual tax returns.

• Experience completing at least 30 individual tax returns per season.

• Strong knowledge of Form 1040 and individual taxation.

• Valid 2027 PTIN or ability to obtain/maintain one as required.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during the assignment.

Work Authorization Requirements

• Candidates must be physically located in the United States.

• Candidates must already be authorized to work in the U.S. for a W-2 position.

• Visa sponsorship or assistance with obtaining employment authorization is not provided.
