Job Title: Level 2 RN Med/Surg Psych Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Nursing Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Rotating Schedule Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience - Experience in psychology required - Telemetry experience required License: - RN License (New York ONLY) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: - Recent Med/Surg experience Description: This is a great opportunity to become a member of a unique unit. This unit focuses on adult medical/surgical care for patients with active co-morbid psychiatric and/or behavioral issues. We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic, and committed nurses to help us grow. Med/surg acute care experience is a plus. A willingness to care for a varied patient population in a changing environment is a must. Nurses may be eligible for dual-certification in both medical/surgical nursing and psychiatric nursing after meeting experience requirements.
