Job Summary

The Onboarding Partner – New Center Opening & Training Specialist serves as the primary field expert responsible for transforming newly constructed retail locations into fully operational Print and Shipping Centers. This role partners closely with new franchise owners to ensure a successful launch by providing hands-on operational setup, equipment training, and business coaching.

The position balances extensive field travel supporting new center openings with headquarters-based responsibilities that include delivering owner training programs and continuously improving corporate onboarding and training curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

New Center Launch & Operational Setup

· Lead on-site setup and operational launch of new Print and Shipping Centers.

· Prepare locations for opening including equipment setup, system configuration, inventory stocking, merchandising, and workflow layout

· Ensure all systems, equipment, and operational processes are functioning effectively prior to opening.

Owner Training & Capability Development

· Provide hands-on training for new owners and staff in:
Point of Sale systems, Cut-sheet and wide-format printing equipment, Finishing equipment and production workflow, Financial operations and reporting

· Build owner confidence and operational capability during the critical startup phase.

Operational Excellence & Brand Standards

· Ensure new centers operate in accordance with corporate operational guidelines, brand standards, and safety requirements.

· Validate that store layout, customer experience, merchandising, and production workflows align with brand expectations.

· Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions prior to center opening.

Training & Program Development

· Deliver corporate training programs for new owners and operators.

· Provide feedback from field openings to continuously improve onboarding programs, training materials, and operational playbooks.

Travel & Schedule Requirements

Extensive Travel: Up to 75% travel within the United States to support new center openings.

Flexible Schedule: Workdays may extend beyond traditional business hours to meet opening timelines.

Field Assignments: Typical openings require 3–6 days on-site per location.

Physical Requirements

This role requires significant physical activity and hands-on operational work:

· Heavy Lifting: Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing 50–75+ lbs (paper cartons, equipment, supplies).

· Extended Standing: Ability to stand, walk, and work on retail flooring for 8–10 hours per day.

· Operational Setup: Ability to assist with equipment placement, merchandising setup, and store preparation tasks.
