Chesapeake Specialty Care is growing, and we're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Representative to join our team.
In this role, you'll be an important part of the patient experience—from the moment a patient walks through our doors to the time they check out. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and staying busy, we'd love to hear from you!
This is a fully in-person position, regularly working across all of our offices is required. Our offices are located in Owings Mills, Rosedale, Columbia, and Westminster
Your Schedule Monday–Friday — no weekends!
8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch
- Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience
- Schedule appointments across our practice locations
- Collect copays and outstanding patient balances
- Assist patients with general insurance and billing questions
- Review paperwork, referrals, and medical records for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare patient charts and help keep front desk areas organized
- Rotate between office locations based on practice needs
- Work alongside a supportive team to keep daily operations running smoothly
- At least 1 year of medical front desk or medical office experience is required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced medical office
- Comfort with typing, scanning, filing, and general office tasks
- A professional and compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability and willingness to regularly travel between all four office locations
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Medical office training or education is a plus.
This position requires prolonged sitting and computer use, as well as the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Total Rewards
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of Specialty Care Networks’ salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications. Specialty Care Network offers a total rewards package that supports our employee’s life, career and retirement.
