Opportunity Overview

• Full-Time Position - 1.0 FTE
• Schedule: To Be Determined
• Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Movement Disorders
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
• Completion of a fellowship in Movement Disorders is mandatory
• Proficient clinical skills in diagnosing and treating Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and other movement disorders
• Experience with botulinum toxin injections and deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming is preferred
• Dedication to patient-centered, multidisciplinary care

Key Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

• Conducting outpatient assessments and treatments for patients with various movement disorders
• Collaborating with neurosurgeons, rehabilitation experts, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care
• Administering botulinum toxin injections and performing DBS programming as clinically indicated
• Participating in interdisciplinary care meetings and contributing to clinical program development
• Educating patients and their families about disease progression and available treatment options
• Engaging in teaching, quality improvement, or research activities as desired
