Senior Specialty Representative - Primary Care - Tampa N. FL (West)

Amgen seeks a Senior Specialty Representative for its Tampa, Florida territory to promote primary care products to medical professionals. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge, executing sales strategy, managing customer relationships, and resolving payer issues while driving territory sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Communicate clinical benefits of Amgen products to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
- Execute branded sales messaging, conduct medical education programs, and achieve sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
- Develop and manage customer accounts by customizing interactions, ensuring product access, and resolving reimbursement issues
- Provide feedback on marketing effectiveness and collaborate with District Manager on territory planning
- Uphold Amgen values including science-based approach, ethical behavior, and patient-focused outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years sales experience
- High school diploma/GED with 8 years sales experience
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry background preferred
- Experience in relevant therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiology, or inflammation
- Advanced relationship-building and sales influencing skills
- Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory
