Accounting Associate

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our growing financial advisory firm. This is a developmental role for someone who wants broad exposure to accounting, tax preparation, tax planning, financial planning, client service, and the operational side of a comprehensive wealth-management practice. The Accounting Associate will support daily accounting and tax-related work while progressively learning all facets of our client-centered advisory model. The right candidate is adaptable, curious, dependable, comfortable working in a changing environment, and eager to build a long-term career in financial services. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparation, organization, and review of individual, business, trust, and other tax-return documentation, as applicable. Gather, organize, reconcile, and maintain client financial records, including income, expenses, account statements, and supporting tax documents. Support tax-planning projects by preparing worksheets, projections, estimates, and client information summaries. Assist advisors and tax professionals with client meeting preparation, follow-up, and implementation of planning recommendations. Perform account reconciliations, bookkeeping support, data entry, reporting, and document management with a high degree of accuracy. Help maintain organized client files and ensure records are complete, current, and handled in accordance with firm procedures and confidentiality standards. Learn the firm’s financial-planning process, including retirement planning, investment management, insurance, estate considerations, cash-flow analysis, and tax-aware strategies. Assist with operational workflows across multiple office locations, including client service, administrative coordination, and internal reporting. Participate in training, continuing education, cross-functional projects, and process-improvement initiatives. Develop working knowledge of relevant systems, financial software, tax-preparation platforms, CRM tools, custodial platforms, and Microsoft Excel. Travel as needed among firm office locations to support clients, team members, and business operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
