Mobile Home Community Manager

Rutherford MHC Management is looking to hire a part‑time Mobile Home Community Manager for a beautiful mobile home community located in Napa, California. The Community Manager is responsible for ensuring that the day‑to‑day operations of the Manufactured Housing Park run smoothly and efficiently, including ongoing maintenance of a clean and well‑run Park environment while fostering goodwill with the Community's residents and owners in a professional manner. The Community Manager would be responsible for all aspects of property management including: Customer Service Management Administration Maintenance Benefits Competitive pay Rich benefits Supportive work environment Opportunities for career development A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A COMMUNITY MANAGER As a Community Manager, you oversee day‑to‑day operations and facilitate community and resident relations. You are a strategic problem‑solver. Your day includes managing rental activity, ensuring all park residents follow park rules, communicating positively and effectively with residents, performing administrative office functions, and serving as an on‑call resource for the mobile home park. You monitor resident satisfaction to ensure a positive living experience and physically walk and inspect the community on a regular basis to address issues and maintain high standards. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you interact with residents and collaborate with other staff and regional managers. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COMMUNITY MANAGER Candidates are required to live on‑site at this community. Strong customer service and public relations skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, co‑workers, managers, and residents. Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to multitask is a must; excellent leadership capabilities and a strong focus on customer service balanced with guideline enforcement. Computer literate. No prior property management experience necessary. Basic math skills and understanding of accounting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Google Workspace and ManageAmerica (willing to train) Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Leadership experience that included establishing goals and expectations while managing performance and providing guidance Must successfully complete regulatory and job training requirements Are you calm, patient, and flexible?
