Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Telemetry

Shifts available: Day/Night Rotation.

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: Not specified.

Current Registered Nurse license in the State.

Minimum of 1-year Med Surg Tele experience.

Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association only.

Preferred: BSN, certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other professional certifications recognized by the Magnet Association, and 1-2 years of Med Surg or Tele experience.

Care of patients who meet Medicine or Med Tele admission criteria.

Provide high-level patient care in a complex medical/surgical unit.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.

Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Holiday and weekend rotation required. No guarantee on hours.
