• Pay Rate: Up to $65/hr combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.

Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:
Provides direct patient care in outpatient and convenient care settings, focusing on preventive, rehabilitative and acute care needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Acts as a preceptor for new employees and healthcare students.
• Serves as a Code Team member when needed and may act as a Nurse Lead during shifts. 
• Administer medications and performs procedures such as ear washes, nebulizer treatments, peak flow testing, splint applications, crutch training and wound care.
• Performs waiting room and exam room rounding, collects and processes specimens, and manage prescription refills per department protocols. 
• Cleans instruments and room patients, including collecting chief complaint, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
• Communicates test results to patients via phone and online. 
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Conducts telephone triage and coordinates with patients, families, pharmacies and other healthcare facilities. 
• Communicates with providers to document actions in the EMR.
  
• Fast-paced outpatient/convenient care setting, requiring strong communication, organizational and clinical skills. 

Requirements:

• RN license in state of assignment.
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) required. 
• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
