Senior Developer (.NET Core)

Position: Senior Developer (.NET Core)

Location: New York (On-site)

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Strong years of hands-on .NET Core development experience building microservices-based architectures.

2. Good years of experience with SQL / relational databases (NoSQL is a plus).

3. Hands-on years of experience with AWS cloud and Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).

4. Expertise with Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, and modern container/platform tooling, including Docker, Kubernetes.

5. Strong ability to produce system design diagrams (sequence, deployment, etc.) to communicate architecture and integrations.

6. AI enablement & adoption: proficient in AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery (code generation/refactoring/testing) with secure engineering practices; establishes safe AI development standards (prompt/playbooks, governance for AI-generated code/POCs); acts as an AI promoter/champion via demos and enablement.

7. Demonstrated ability to create POCs for new technologies and present recommendations/trade-offs to the team.

8. CI/CD & platform engineering: pipeline design, quality gates, automated testing strategy, release strategies (blue/green, canary), and environment promotion.

9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and stakeholders.

10. Preferred: experience in the financial services domain.

11. Preferred: experience with Java and Kotlin (building services, integrations, or platform components).
