Education/Experience
Minimum Bachelor's degree completed in Accounting or Finance.
Job Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant maintains general ledgers, reconciles bank and financial statements, assists with month-end close processes, prepares journal entries, and ensures compliance with financial regulations and supports internal operations of a contingent labor management service company.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain and balance general ledger accounts
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Process journal entries and document business transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure alignment with GAAP and internal corporate controls
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Oracle NetSuite and QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- High attention to detail and strong time-management skills
- Prior 3 -5 years of corporate staff accounting experience preferred
