Backpack Healthcare is expanding into Arizona — and we're looking for clinicians who want to be part of the journey from the beginning. Arizona is one of our newest markets, which means this is more than another therapist opening. You'll have the opportunity to help establish Backpack's presence, reach new families, and shape how we deliver care in the communities we're entering. Backpack Healthcare provides accessible behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families — all online and covered by most insurance. Joining Backpack's Arizona team means getting in at the ground level. You'll have the opportunity to: help establish our Arizona clinical presence; expand access to care for children and families across the state; grow alongside a developing program; help shape the culture and clinical community we're building; develop toward future mentorship, supervision, and leadership opportunities; join an established organization while still having the excitement and influence of a new market. You won't just be joining the Arizona team — you'll help build it.

We believe flexibility and meaningful work should come with competitive compensation. $55 per billable hour — LCSW, LPC, or LMFT with independent licensure; monthly bonus potential for eligible clinicians based on applicable productivity and performance criteria; 401(k) with 3% company match; $150 annual CEU reimbursement; Employee Assistance Program; pathways into clinical leadership as the Arizona program grows. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn an additional monthly performance-based bonus on top of their regular billable compensation. Bonus eligibility is based on applicable productivity and performance expectations, giving you another opportunity to increase your monthly earnings while being recognized for consistently providing high-quality care.

You'll carry a target caseload of 15–22 sessions per week, providing individual and family therapy through telehealth. Most clinicians work weekday afternoons and evenings, typically 2–9 PM, with weekend availability a plus. You build the schedule. We support the rest. Backpack provides the referrals and administrative infrastructure so you can spend more of your time focused on your clients — not searching for them or managing unnecessary administrative work.

You'll provide compassionate, evidence-informed behavioral healthcare to children, teens, young adults, and their families. Your work will include conducting clinical assessments; developing individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans; providing individual and family therapy through secure telehealth; collaborating with therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and other members of our interdisciplinary team; providing family education and care coordination; maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation; building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients and families; delivering culturally responsive care that recognizes each family's unique needs.

You may be a great fit if you have: active Arizona license: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW; experience working with children, adolescents, and families — or a strong interest in this population; ability to work independently in a fully remote environment; strong clinical judgment and communication skills; comfort with technology and virtual clinical platforms; commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care; bilingual English/Spanish skills — strongly preferred.
