Production Assistant Boston, MA Artaic is a high‑tech design and manufacturing company that produces “mass customized” mosaic tile solutions for a range of commercial and residential applications. We offer a dynamic, growth‑stage environment that supports creativity and innovation. The company is privately owned and has been expanding since 2008. Position Overview The Production Assistant supports our proprietary mosaic assembly systems and helps meet increasing production demand. Responsibilities include operating tile inspection and robotic manufacturing equipment, assembling and testing mosaics, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Operate mosaic tile assembly tools, equipment, and robots. Operate tile inspection stations for automatic and manual quality control. Maintain upscale, clean manufacturing space. Assist with inventory management, including lifting up to 25 lb. containers. Support receiving and shipping of products. Prepare sample materials as needed. Arrive on time for designated shifts. Qualifications Demonstrated interest and capability in manual craft fabrication work. Comfortable in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven production environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Interest in continuous improvement to enhance production efficiencies. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.Consistent ability to meet production goals on a per‑shift basis. Attention to artistic and technical detail. Positive attitude. Salary $18.00/hour with a 3‑month introductory/trial period. Schedule: Early morning, evening, and weekend shifts are available.
