Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. To provide customer service for customers and sales staff concerning all aspects of the ordering process. In addition, the position is to provide information as it pertains to products that are sold by the company.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers by phone or electronically and take appropriate action, such as order entry, complaints about invoicing, pricing, and service discrepancies.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.

• Required attention to detail, organizational skills, and level of accuracy.

• Maintain customer satisfaction ratings based on explicit criteria set forth by the company.

• Attend mandatory training sessions to stay updated on product or company policy changes.

• Use company policies and standard operating procedures to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a customer issue or if that issue requires managerial input.

• Set-up and maintain customer data into the computer software to keep the customer’s records updated efficiently.

• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to work as part of a team.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend documents such as operating instructions, and Prestige magazine. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are a requirement.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers and common fractions. Strong problem-solving abilities.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have good computer skills, and Microsoft 365 is a plus, but not required.
