As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, assist residents and visitors with professionalism, and communicate clearly while providing exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $15.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Sat 03:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 08:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, property concerns, policy violations, and maintenance-related observations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
