Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role supporting students and staff as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity is available on an on-site, full-time or part-time basis starting August 6th and running through May 16th (depending on emergency days). Your expertise will be called upon to serve schools across a diverse district, collaborating with both public and parochial campuses.
Bring your professional skills to a dynamic educational environment, where you’ll play a key role in assessing student behavior, devising effective intervention plans, and monitoring ongoing progress. You’ll also supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and serve as a behavioral resource across four district schools and two parochial schools, providing district-wide support in a collaborative setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong background in conducting behavior assessments and crafting intervention plans
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Previous supervision of RBTs or similar paraprofessionals a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess student behaviors and interpret data to inform interventions
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Oversee and support RBTs, providing guidance and training as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
- Offer consultation and support to educators district wide
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with school leaders
Scheduling & Logistics:
- Flexible full-time or part-time options; on-site presence required
- School hours are 8:10 am to 3:15 pm, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 4:15 pm
- Interviews conducted by school principals and the Special Education Director
