Sterile Processing Technician

This is a 13-week contract position with a Monday to Friday schedule, working from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician with Level 1 Trauma experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrapping of instruments used in various surgical procedures including neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, orthopedic, transplant, and gynecological cases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform decontamination, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instruments.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.
• Assist in managing surgical supply inventory and equipment reprocessing.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure proper instrument availability and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and quality control checks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of experience in a sterile processing role.
• National Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA required.
• Previous experience in Level 1 Trauma settings.
