Privacy and Cyber Litigation Associate
BCG Attorney Search
Job Overview A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cyber Litigation Associate to join their team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of litigation experience, preferably in privacy, cyber, consumer-focused, or class action litigation, and/or federal court litigation. Duties Manage day-to-day case activities and lead fact investigations. Research legal issues and develop litigation strategies. Draft pleadings, including answers, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment. Conduct and defend depositions. Negotiate with opposing counsel. Requirements Excellent academic and professional credentials. Strong analytical and communication skills. Comfortable managing client relationships. Federal clerkship experience preferred. Experience with Fair Credit Reporting Act or other privacy-related statutes is a plus. Good standing in the state of residence. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of residence. Skills Ability to deliver smaller projects with limited supervision. Confidently manage workflow for larger projects.
