Your leadership directly impacts how fast life-changing orthopedic innovations reach surgeons and patients worldwide.This is a hybrid position with onsite presence 3 days a week at our Englewood, Colorado facilty.How You'll Create ImpactPortfolio ManagementLead periodic governance mechanisms and manage project Phase Reviews through the Business processDevelop communication processes and mechanisms defining portfolio and individual project progress, problems, and solutionsManage cross-functional collaboration with internal functions including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, and MarketingCompile and report overall status of R&D pipeline, roadmaps and KPIs across the portfolio of projectsDefine key performance metrics and report on progress of the portfolio and individual projects to all stakeholdersDevelop communication processes and mechanisms defining program and individual project progress, problems, and solutionsBudget ManagementCollaborate closely with cross divisional peers to ensure appropriate P&L reportingEnsure that revenue and P&L variances are captured, accurate and presented during monthly and quarterly meetingsProcess Ownership & ImprovementCreate and manage division tracking tools, dashboards, and output for executive managementOwn continuous improvement of Portfolio and Business processesOther duties as assignedYour BackgroundBachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and 8+ years of solid knowledge and experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in managing projectsProven experience in people management, risk management, and change managementStrong organizational skills with experience concurrently managing multiple tasks or activitiesIndividual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionallyMedical device industry experience requiredPMP certification or equivalent preferredExperience in managing Hardware and/or Software project execution preferredTravel ExpectationsUp to 15% Overnight TravelCompensation DataSalary Range: $128,000-$192,000 depending on skills and experienceEOEJob SummaryJob number: 11604Profession: Research & DevelopmentType: Full-Time
